The elders sat at the gate As the council convened To birth laws, guidelines and policies that define the culture for the people To bring forth a deed on which is stamped the vision for the city That all may run thereby
He gave gifts unto men, And the men be gifts unto us Our God invests in people Not structures As every one is given grace In accordance to the measure of the gift The gift of Christ
Another look into what this then reveals of God's nature. The word respect can again connote partiality, Arising out of selfish and unworthy consideration One which God does not exercise 'cos He's impartial.
My heart questions What then is the report of heaven? Would it say: "...this servant is faithful"? Should the whole world then depend on me; Can the Father count on me?
Come thou hither A privileged call echoes from the throne room The Father's invitation To gird thou thine loins And stand fast For the journey begins now!
First, what qualifies us as citizens of God’s kingdom? Jesus said “… except a man be born of water and of Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God” (Jn 3:5). For God to reign in our hearts, a change must take place from within. The Good News of the gospel drives this change in our lives. And the more we spend time studying the life of Christ and listening to the message of the cross, the closer we attain the perfection of Christ.
Jesus
employed countless parables in His teachings in an attempt to explain the
operation of the Kingdom of God. Of these parables, one that helps us capture
the subject of Kingdom principles is found in Matt 18:23-35.
We will See Him Yes, we would He's in everything For His works manifest His praise They tell us of His heart How it beats And how it yearns, to love and to bless
